If you’re someone who needs to see a painting on your own wall to know if it’s the right fit, I’d be happy to help!
Simply send me a photo of your wall along with a measurement that matches the width of the painting. If you’re unsure about the exact size, you can just mark 1 meter on your wall using painter’s tape.
I will then send you an image showing the painting placed on your wall—so you can see exactly how it will look, without any effort on your part.
If the tape is hard to see in the photo, feel free to draw a line on it to make it more visible.
Here’s a step-by-step guide:
1) Place a piece of tape (preferably painter’s tape) on your wall measuring 1 meter in length. I usually suggest 1 meter, as it makes it easier for me to estimate both larger and smaller painting sizes in relation to it. If you already know the exact size of your favorite painting, you’re also welcome to send me its width.
2) Take a photo of your wall. Make sure to step back and include some of the surrounding space. It’s important that the photo is taken straight on, from the angle where you imagine the painting will be placed. The lines of the ceiling and floor should appear parallel. A horizontal photo usually works best, but in some cases a vertical one can work as well.
3) Send the photo of your wall to guldagerart@gmail.com and write “Painting on the Wall Service” in the subject line. I will get back to you within 5 days.
Let me know if you have any preferences, such as frame color—for example: wood, black, white, or no frame (for paintings).
